MOLD REMEDIATION Mold remediation is the cleanup and removal of mold growth from surfaces, building materials and contents. Building materials supporting mold growth must be remediated as rapidly as possible to eliminate or prevent health problems and structural damage. If you decide, after our initial assessment, that the extent of mold growth in your home or office necessitates professional remediation, then Cadmus Environmental can create a Mold Remediation Protocol providing detailed guidelines for your remediation contractor, to protect the health and safety of the occupants and remediators. During remediation, Cadmus Environmental can also provide independent project supervision, if desired. Before a remediation project can be deemed successful a licensed Mold Consultant, such as Cadmus Environmental, who is separate from the mold remediation company, must conduct a post remediation assessment. This inspection ensures that the work area is free from all visible mold and wood rot; that the project was completed in compliance with the remediation protocol and remediation work plan, and that the home or building meets all clearance criteria specified in the protocol – all before any containment is removed. Cadmus Environmental will provide you with a passed clearance report documenting the results of this inspection, if remediation is successful. If the project fails clearance, then further remediation, prescribed by the Cadmus Environmental, will be necessary before a Certificate of Mold Damage Remediation can be signed. Cadmus Environmental provides professional and independent support while preparing for remediation and will carefully assess that the remediation was performed successfully.
